1999 Subaru 2.5rs Build
This project started off as an automatic car with engine issues and was transformed into a reliable, stick shift sports car. The vehicle was purchased with existing modifications and came equipped with a supercharger. This increases the power output of the engine, but can be detrimental without proper internal components, something this engine lacked. To remedy this, the engine was professionally rebuilt with high compression and performance parts. With the engine removed, the transmission swap could also begin.

Swapping the transmission includes changing the rear differential, the driveshaft, all axels, the gearbox, and the wiring harness.

Any rusted parts were resurfaced using a sandblaster.

Finding a wiring harness made for this specific model and year proved extremely difficult. Ultimately, a donor car was purchased and the wiring harness was removed from this vehicle.
