Occlusion Test Fixture

I designed this fixture to simplify and improve a current occlusion test for the device. It clamps down on the device and holds it in place to be filled. After filling, the device can be clamped off with the clamping attachment. It was designed with accuracy and repeatability in mind. The clamp actuates in the same place with the same amount of force every time, eliminating human error from the previous test. The entire assembly needed to be CT scanned, so making this fixture without many metal components was a priority. A white mock device is a placeholder of the actual device, hiding any intellectual property.
